Trash to Treasures Lesson

Trash to Treasure encourages students to reimagine their discarded items. The art lesson focuses on the reuse portion of the 3 R’s (reduce/reuse/recycle). This five- to six-step lesson uses adhesive tabs, brads, zip ties, and foam mounts to assemble a 3D model made from dominoes, wood blocks, wire, and more. The student manual features a California student and his recycling efforts. “Up-Cycle” your items into new creations such as boats, trees, animals, and even robots!
